Being one of the pioneers of the UAE General Insurance Industry, Al Sagr is keen to be a vital player in this market. We constantly endeavor to develop our wide range of state-of-the-art services and products by pursuing creative and innovative practices.

In all its activities, ‘Customer First’ has been our priority and the key to Al Sagr’s continuous quest for business success.

Al Sagr has now stepped into its 5th decade of operations. We are proud of what we have achieved in the last 4 decades. Our journey has been enriching and fulfilling in all aspects; achieving an incredible growth path in all of our insurance segments, maintaining solid financial results that have placed us as one of the top insurance companies in terms of premium income, and creating loyal, diverse and happy clients along the way.

40 years and beyond

2019 was special in our company’s history because it was the year we celebrated our 40th anniversary. Our journey began on the 25th of December 1979 and in the past 4 decades Al Sagr’s name has become synonymous with the business of insurance – motor, marine, property and general accidents, medical, life and travel, etc.

I am proud to say that we have an excellent team that caters to our customer needs with quality products and services. The hard work, support and dedication of our Board Members, shareholders, employees, and business associates resulted in a direct reflection of our quality performance.

In line with the management philosophy, Al Sagr is keen on leaving a legacy and be remembered for our accomplishments. We are committed to creating new and progressive approaches to our business operations and services to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Going forward, the effort from us shall be “To live up to our core values” and beliefs as outlined below:
